Our Mission
Little Roots Academy was created to support young children through faith-based, developmentally aligned learning in a virtual format. The program is designed for homeschool families seeking flexibility alongside the structure and support of a private school. With a focus on spiritual, emotional, and academic growth, the academy emphasizes nurturing children in ways that honor how they learn and grow. Monthly Community Days further connect learning to real-world experiences.
Faith-Based Foundation — Instruction is grounded in Christianity, including Bible teaching as part of the learning experience.
Whole-Child Focus — The program incorporates emotional development, movement through daily wiggle breaks, and enrichment offerings shared by the founder.

Community Days
Once-a-month Community Days include in-person field trips within the local community, such as museums, farms, and community spaces, aligned with lessons and school values
Meet Our Founder
Dr. Jendayi A. Stafford, Ph.D., is the founder and director of Little Roots Academy. A developmental psychologist, educator, and mother of four, Dr. Stafford founded Little Roots Academy from her belief that children thrive when they feel truly seen, supported, and free to learn in ways that honor how God designed them.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Social Science, three master’s degrees—including Developmental Psychology and Marriage & Family Therapy—and a Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology. In addition, she is a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, a Pharmacy Technician, and practices herbalism, allowing her to bring a holistic, whole-child approach to education.
Dr. Stafford is also the founder of Graced for Motherhood (a membership for moms), an international best-selling author, and the creator of multiple wellness and emotional development programs for children and families. She serves as the Director of Professional Development and Training for the BreakThrough! mental and metabolic recovery program founded by Dr. Heather Hamilton, and ministers as Associate Pastor at Full Life Fellowship Ministries.
With a passion for nurturing children’s spiritual, emotional, and academic growth, Dr. Stafford leads Little Roots Academy with the mission of helping young learners grow deep roots—in Christ, in confidence, and in their love for learning.

$6,350 per year — Four days of weekly instruction with the option for monthly billing at $635 for 10 months.
